Honesty Policy
Values & Vision -
Proud to be transparent and honest so you can feel confident in your purchase!
Each umbrella canopy is made from recycled post-consumer plastic waste, keeping it out of our landfills and oceans. Durable & built to last I believe you won't have to buy another brolly for years to come, except maybe to treat a loved one!
Polyethylene terephthalate (PET) is a plastic used to create many products - one of which is the plastic bottle. PET can be recycled, turning it into rPET.
The production of rPET uses less water, around 50% less energy & produces up to 70% less greenhouse emissions than virgin polyester, whilst also reducing the need to produce new material.
rPET isn't perfect, it is still plastic and needs to be recycled responsibly at the end of it's life. It is a step in the right direction but I'm convinced we can do better.
Creating anything new has an impact on the environment, however I am committed to reducing waste at every stage of production. This includes packaging - your brolly will be shipped to you in a paper padded mailer using paper packaging tape of which 100% can be recycled with your cardboard/paper waste.
Moving forward I want to keep the focus on people and planet, continually working to reduce impact on the environment & to improve the lives of everyone who comes into contact with The Happy Brolly Movement.
